A Hudson Valley Rose Garden

Welcome to the "portrait gallery" of roses found at the home of Mike Stewart and John Perrone, in Peekskill, New York. The gardens contain about 125 different hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, Bourbons, Damasks, English Austins, climbers, miniatures, Buck hardy varieties, and other "shrub" roses. In June of 2021, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that the State of New York has nominated the home and gardens to the National Register of Historic Places. Some of these photographs can be found in published garden books, and on the National Gardening Association’s website.
